Internet Audio Advertising (Pey Per Play) Offers All Website Owners a Piece of the Advertising Pie

Underway as of February 1, 2008, Internet audio advertising is set to change the game in advertising on the net. It allows all website owners - both big and small - to earn income from every single visitor to their websites. The advertiser network has already signed on many big names such as Taco Bell, Burger King, HBO & Harley-Davidson.

The developer of this innovative Internet audio advertising model predicts that it could eventually exceed radio, television and newspapers - combined! More than 65,000 advertisers have already signed on. These advertisers have agreed to pay a fee each time a website visitor hears a 5 second audio clip that is played the moment the website is visited.

There is no charge for website owners to join the network and they earn 25% of the total agency fee collected. While there is a review process, nearly every website is accepted, with the exceptions of websites dealing in pornography, violence, and a few other taboo subjects. Other than that, whether the website is large or small, heavily visited or not, it will most likely be approved for inclusion into the network..

The website owner simply inserts a snippet of code to make the whole thing work. Ads can be targeted to many different demographics and should average approximately $14 per 1,000 plays. With 97% of all computers equipped with audio, pay per play ads can easily heard by millions daily. Approximately 15 million websites are running the ads and more are signing on everyday. There is no charge to acquire the code and the website visitor has no forms to complete, nothing to buy; as a matter of fact, there is no action required on the part of a visitor whatsoever other than simply visiting the website!

The company is also accepting promoters for the service. Promoters receive a 10% commission for every website they bring into the network.

One of the more interesting features of this new model is that visitors are not required to leave the website in order for the website owner to get paid. It also works directly in conjunction with another very popular form of website advertising - Google’s Adwords. We fully expect its popularity to approach the search engine giant’s proprietary ad model.
